The place is small and cozy and the portions are small so don't expect to have any leftovers. But it's for the better as you get to enjoy everything without unnecessary feeling of fullness that plagues a lot of regular restaurants.
    The staff was amazing too.

The dishes themselves were artfully presented and very tasty.
Do get the Japanese beef option if offered, it's totally worth it, the beef is authentic Japanese and not a much more common domestic Texas-Japanese breed. (Japan only exports about 300 metric tons of beef a year, very little so it's very hard to see outside of Japan, and that's what dictates the price).

I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. It has a great atmosphere. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

We had a genuinely 5 star, 5 diamond experience at the Georgian Room. Service was excellent and food was perfectly prepared. Each course was flawlessly crafted and served. Wine list is unbelievable. Overall ambience of hotel and this dining room are in the best of the U.S. and tops in the South. Be sure to spend time at hotel and grounds. Bring your Gold card!

I started off my experience with my spouse in the lounge. It looked beautiful (from what I could tell). It was very dark and difficult to read the cocktail menu. My only complaint about the lounge (besides the lighting) was the awkward and in-genuine conversation from the bartender and her unprofessional attire (tight dress/skirt). It was a little daring for a professional atmosphere and I felt as if she was upstaging myself and other guests. The hostess was absolutely sweet and walked us to a beautiful table and even helped pull out our chairs. She introduced herself as “Brie, like the cheese”, which I thought was cute, and even asked us about our favorite course at the end of the meal. The Georgian Room is probably one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever stepped in. The floral arrangements, chandeliers, and fireplace are breathtaking. The servers are phenomenal. Our server, Justin, and the sommelier, Bob, were very well spoken and knowledable on every dish, wine, and history behind each course and pairing. The presentation of the food were truly art pieces, some were almost too pretty to eat. Everything was delicious, from the oysters with apple dipping dots (first course) to the espresso dessert (final course). By the end of the meal, I could barely walk! I lost count of how many courses there were. The Georgian Room dining room is a 5 Star experience! I rated 4 stars due to the lounge atmosphere and bartender. Definitely an experience and would recommend simply for the service and variety of food and wine in the dining room!

It wasn’t that good. The staff were excellent. I mean really amazing. The food wasn’t great. I understand it’s an experience but some of the flavors were awful. Particularly the tomato salad. They have a frozen part of the dish. The green liquid inside tasted just gross. It was like salty sea water. The soup is very pleasant and so is the chocolate cake. I had the chicken and the only edible part was the chicken itself. There was asparagus with foam on top. The foam just didn’t taste good. I’m a big fan of artistic food. But the artistic food needs to taste excellent if it’s going to be done. Maybe some of these items weren’t on the regular menu. I feel like the chef is almost amazing but pairs together some odd combinations that don’t compliment each other. The execution is almost there. I really think that they should rework some of their menu items. This place has potential. Again this is just my personal opinion. The staff and ambiance were both wonderful!
