Mambo's Cafe - Buford

The restaurant menu is a mix of Cuban & Peruvian dishes. The papa rellenas were delicious! The skirt steak with rice, beans, and plantains were the bomb. The rope vieja however missed the mark for me. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place though.

I found this place and keep going back the food is delicious they have live music on Fridays or weekend don’t know what days! The place is nice inside. Great place to have dinner.

I went for lunch around 11:30 am right before the lunch crowd. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The restrooms are clean...thank you for that. My server was pleasant and the food was quickly delivered to my table.
They gave me bread with a green sauce...brace yourselves because that sauce is full of heat!! I wish I didn’t drench my bread in it. My mouth was on 🔥!! 😂 I ordered a Cuban espresso, which was strong, just the way I like it. For my meal, I ordered the churrasco steak (medium temp). My meal was delicious. It is skirt steak so you expect chewiness. The rice had good flavor, the sweet plaintain was delicious, and the black beans were good (I'm not a bean person). I will come back to try other dishes and a drink or two. I saw drums so I'm assuming they have music in the evening.

The food was great! However they put French fries under my meats to make it appear fuller or more. It soaked up all the Sauces. Don't do that. Either put more onions or change the price and more meats. The service was always no where to be found. Again the food is great!

Mambo’s is a nice new addition to the Mall of Georgia area. We have now gone twice and everything from the food and service has been consistent. The prices and portions are fair, the food is fresh, and the menu has a great selection of Cuban and Peruvian cuisine. You can’t beat the complimentary bread as well. We wish you all the best and will be back soon!
