My family ordered a smoked turkey breast for Thanksgiving and it was excellent. This made things easier on that day after an early morning run - just heat, carve and eat. It's always a joy to visit family when I come in from Chicago but this food made things even better. I know my family will keep coming here and I'll be insisting on ordering when I fly in from Chicago!
Best BBQ I've ever had, so much love went into those immaculate green beans. Everything was just so freaking good. Staff was super friendly.
Right when you walk in you feel welcomed. The owners came out from the back to say hello and greet me. The pulled pork plate was a great portion and I loved the green beans. My husband got the brisket and he said it was the best he's had in Ga. The corn casserole was very good as well. We even let our one year old try the food and he didnt turn any away. Their banana pudding was amazing too. Definitely going back again!
Food was great and reasonably priced at $10 for pulled pork plate with two sides. We liked everything except the BBQ green beans. Kids loved mac and cheese. Cole slaw and baked beans were good. Daily special was a hash brown casserole which was delicious. They seem to do more takeout business than dine in as there are only 9 seats, apparently at the order of the fire marshal for the smaller dining area... we will return.
Me and my husband both had the pulled pork sandwiches, they were delicious, juicy, and flavor was spot on. Buns were great too, you could tell they were fresh and I really loved they went the extra mile to butter them and lightly toast them. Honestly some of the best bbq we’ve had in a while, I’m so glad this place has opened up near us. I have to rave about the banana pudding though, I’m constantly searching for banana pudding that’s comparable to the banana pudding that got me hooked on it from a small mom and pop place in North Carolina...let me tell you, it may have taken several years, but I FINALLY Found it! You have no idea what a simple joy you brought to my heart, so thank you for that Fat Cap. We will be back!
