My big fat Greek taverna

Delicious! Ordered for a family gathering so I had the chance to try a little bit of everything. The kebab was super tender and flavorful, the pork skewers were juicy and the lemon potatoes were to die for! The baklava and the “kormos” were the perfect wrap up for this amazing meal!

Finding authentic Greek food in Atlanta has always been a great challenge until I stumbled upon these guys. My Big Fat Greek taverna brings the flavors and the aroma of the Greek cuisine to your table. The kebab was amazingly flavorful, the pork skewers were super tender and the gyro wrap was huge! What really stood out to me were the fresh ingredients and the enormous portions. Will definitely be ordering again!

Best place in Atlanta if you want to taste true , authentic Greek food!! We had the platters-Opa combo, chicken souvlaki and chicken gyro. Portions were really generous , we had plenty of food left for dinner too!! Everything tasted amazing! The deserts are out of this world!!Highly recommended, you have to give it a try! We will definitely keep ordering from this place!

WOW – everything was so yummy! My wife and I ordered from My Big Fat Greek Taverna for lunch. Everything came out quickly and was extremely fresh. I had the Kebab – Bifteki which was amazing – it’s a beef kebab that was perfectly seasoned. I had it with the lemon potatoes & salad – both were great. My wife had the Traditional Gyro and fries. The gyro was excellent – and it was huge! She also had the Greek Village salad which was very fresh and quite good. Oh and the Baklava was awesome for dessert!!! Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other options now. Highly recommend their food. Give them a try - you’ll be glad you did.

Such an amazing hidden gem! Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation. I’m a fan of Greek food and this really set a new bar for quality! Maria is such an astounding owner with wonderful recommendations. If you’re looking for a quick trip in every bite, grab a bite. You’ll fall in love with the Greeks.
