Nacho Daddy - Duluth

My husband and I came here for a date night. We had the BBQ chicken nachos which were large enough to share. No complaints here! We sat at the upstairs bar and enjoyed the 90s nostalgia from the music videos playing on the TV. They lost a star from me because the margaritas weren't my favorite. I had the house margarita and the peach - both tasted the same.

Wow, the food is very unique. So many different nacho scenarios it's hard to pick just one. But to be quote honest, the best is the simple cheese and chips. The cheese is served hot under a small flame to keep it from cooling and producing that layer of "milk".

It can get busy so keep that in mind and it's pricey but I believe worth it

I had the flaming shrimp tacos which were cooked perfectly and the presentation was spectacular. The rice and beans were top tier as well despite being a tad on the salty side. The 'slaw' served on the side was not great IMO because of the sugar but then again I don't like sugar in my slaw. The service was great both friendly and knowledgeable. Downtown Duluth is a great location and the ambiance paired perfectly with the type of cuisine served there.

The food was amazing but the service in the front leaves a little too be desired. Hostess got a little annoyed when we asked to not be seated at a high top shelf we had a toddler that needed a high chair. They quickly figured out another seating option for us though. Server was very nice, just a little flaky and kept having to run back for things she forgot. The kitchen staff were great!

Always a great experience. Priced fairly, food comes fast and is always top notch. The staff is always super friendly. It is a very busy, party ready place though. If you are looking for music and a good time search no more. If you are looking for a chill atmosphere where you can have a serious conversation on a date search elsewhere.
