Very fun place to play poker. Staff are friendly and food is good. Great action as well
Boyfriend likes to play here and I've come with him 3 times just to enjoy the entertainment. All of the staff have been really kind to us. The place has a security officer, security cameras, and sometimes police in the parking lot. It makes you feel safe. The food is obviously not why we come here, but it's tolerable. Make sure to give extra tips to the girls here that wait on you and make your drinks. They seem to always be on their feet and working hard.
Here are my thoughts are 2 visits:
Nice tables, chairs and lighting.
Plenty of well lit safe parking.
Very friendly staff.
They are still ironing out some kinks but overall it is well run.
Dealer quality is very varied and needs to be improved but some are quite good.
Players are diverse and fairly friendly.
The lights block the TVs and showed be replaced with some that don't hang down.
I played cash. It costs $20 to get in the door and $15/hr to play with a 2hr minimum purchase. (unused time is saved on your card. Also 1/2 off time from 4-7 weekdays. This is pretty high but some goes to charity and there are few options in the area. Also the the 1-3 cash game plays a bit bigger somewhat mitigating the cost issue.
I have not tried the food yet but it looks tasty.
It is important to make sure pots and payouts are correct at the table and at the cage as errors are fairly common.
I will be back for sure.
The food is well-made, and being able to play poker only enhances the experience. A great alternative to driving up to Buford to Tannery Row. Stop in and say hi to Craig and Mike, and tell them Google sent you!
