Ambience Lakay

I've been here twice and I will be coming back to try everything on the menu. The spot is well decorated and the name truly fits the decor. The service was great and the food was even better. A few suggestions are the oxtail, the fried goat and the griot are all great. The white rice and the bean sauce is amazing.

I ordered on Uber Eats and the food was fantastic! Their high rating is well deserved! First of all, I called to ask questions before ordering. They answered promptly and the woman I spoke to was pleasant, professional, and accommodating.

I ordered the Griot Fritay, Seafood Legume with du riz blanc et sauce pois rouge (white rice and red bean sauce), and Akra (malanga fritters). Stone Mountain is quite a ways from me and the food arrived warm. It was well packed and secured to prevent tampering.

The seafood legume had tons of shrimp, cirique, and lambi (blue crabs and conch). The pikliz was spicy but not so much where it’s not enjoyable. They also including a white sauce which was flavorful and acidic. The griot was well seasoned the Akra was so good!

I can confidently say this will be my new favorite Haitian restaurant and I can’t wait to try their other dishes. I will definitely bring my family here when they come to visit. I hope the community continues to support this establishment because we need more Haitian restaurants that are the complete package: Great food + great customer service.

What a wonderful addition to our community! The curator is super pleasant, the decor is super delightful and food is super delicious! I ordered oxtail with mushroom rice and a slice of carrot cake. The meat was TENDER, the plantain was very flavorful and salad was colorful and very fresh. The cake was excellent; moist, tasty and not overly sweet. There is plenty of seating and a stage possibly for musical entertainment. I look forward to visiting when they have live music. This restaurant will be my new weekly goto.

This place is amazing. One of the Best Haitian restaurants on the East Side. The staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the griot, and the legumes were on point. The price was reasonable. The decor was beautiful, very warm. It's almost like you were in someone's home. Overall, give this place to try. You would definitely not be disappointed! Also, sign up for the rewards.
