Love eating here, the food is great and the atmosphere as well. Never had an issue with customer service. I love ordering my Reuben Panini with fries. The French fried are amazing -crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, and I also love the dipping sauce that come with my plate as well. Not only that dessert is amazing, I love ordering my cheesecake from here. They’re big slices ????
Metro Cafe Diner is a go-to that will please everyone in your party. It covers those who want breakfast for dinner or dinner for breakfast or even breakfast and dinner at lunch. They also can please almost any palate from Mediterranean food to American food, they have you covered.
You get a nice portion of food for the price and the quality is is worth the price. I typically get the Country Catfish and it is fried to golden perfection.
The customer service is great depending on your server. They are all nice but some may move a little slower than others.
All in all, it's definitely worth a visit. Oh, I forgot to mention that as soon as you walk in, there is a full display case of cakes of all flavors. I've never tried any but they look delicious. There is also a full bar.
Today was my first time stopping in and I loved it. Everyone was welcoming and the food came quickly and hot. Our server Chris was fantastic and you could tell he enjoys his job. The serving size was out of this world and far too much to eat in one sitting which is wonderful because I definitely got my money's worth and then some. I'll surely return on my next visit to Atlanta.
We were staying at a hotel across the intersection so we thought we would check out there food. Both of us ordered the fried chicken with french fries. It was cooked to a nice golden brown but the coating was very light when you pulled it apart. It was also very under seasoned with so little salt and pepper in the coating that you couldn't see or taste it. I was disappointed with expecting great southern fried chicken. The service was decent but we didn't get any drink refills. Since we were still hungry and had seen a large assortment of desserts in a display case at the front I ordered Apple crumble cheese cake. I thought it would be the usual size no more than an inch thick. It was approximately 4 to 5 inches thick cut the size of a piece of cake. It was very rich and tasty worth every penny. My wife had some sort of specialty flavor cake that was equally as good. So 3 stars for service and barely 3 for chicken but 5 for dessert. I have family in the area so i will be back at some point to give it another try.
I was pleasantly surprised. Good menu fantastic look, good (but a little slow our night) service. Food was good and plentiful. So much so we couldn't even get to the mouth-watering desserts that greeted us in the front case at the door. Will definitely return. Adults and teens all pleased.
