The food is not the same as the cafe but it’s still decently good. The fattoush salad, hummus, and cauliflower as appetizers were great but $5 for raw vegetables is too much. The filet mignon kabob was okay but not cooked well. The chicken kabob was just okay! It is nice that they have options as the side such as grilled veggies or half rice/ half lentils! Most places only allow you to choose one. The knafeh is not good at all. I recommend the Arnold Palmer (half lemonade/half iced tea) as a drink choice! The inside looks amazing.

Raik, the newly opened Mediterranean gem in Suwanee, GA, was well worth the anticipation following its long build-up. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a stunning atmosphere, boasting beautiful decor and meticulous attention to detail. The lovely mix of tiles and textures creates an inviting ambiance throughout the restaurant, which is cleverly divided into zones, offering everything from a vibrant bar to cozy booths, a more formal seating area, and even a private dining room for special occasions.

Now, let's talk about the food. The beef kabobs with mujadara stole the show with their succulent flavors and perfect pairing. The Palestinian mhammar flatbread, served on freshly baked pita, was a delightful burst of authentic taste. While the za'atar labneh with pita starter was enjoyable, a more diverse selection of crudites could elevate the dish further, perhaps incorporating tricolor carrots, endives, or radishes for added flair.

The fried calamari was a revelation, boasting the most tender texture I've ever encountered, albeit a tad oily. And to cap off the meal, the knafeh dessert proved to be a delightfully unique treat, leaving a lasting impression.

Overall, my experience at Raik was exceptional. It's a fantastic addition to Suwanee Town Center and Gwinnett's culinary scene.

I generally have a hard time rating an eatery with 5 stars across the board was skeptical of the 4.9 rating on Google. This place just opened the night before we visited, which you would not have guessed given how well run the restaurant is.

We sat at the bar as the restaurant was packed. We had some cocktails and small plates to share. The bartenders were great and our food arrived quickly and well prepared. The atmosphere was upscale and the restaurant was buzzing.

If you are anywhere near Suwanee and want to try some great middle eastern inspired Mediterranean food this is the place. I will be back.
