The unsweetened tea was good as were the catfish filets. The catfish was cooked perfectly. Fries crispy and good. I had the Dixie coleslaw. It was not my favorite, maybe a bit too much mayo and not quite enough seasoning?The service was good, very friendly. I'd say give it a try.

I was about Barbecued out when we stopped here to eat but this food was the best I'd had in NE Georgia. I can vouch for the hamburger steak (had to have been some grade A++ chuck), smoked turkey, ribs, brisket and fried green tomatoes - all of the food was cooked perfectly and chock full of flavor. The meats here were so moist you could eat it without sauce but I appreciated they had sweet, hot, vinegar, mustard and yellow sauces table side for the meal. Excellent service too - Two thumbs up!

Our family has been coming here about 12 years, through a few changes of management. The ribs are spot on. When the brisket and pulled pork are good, they're very good, but sometimes they come out a bit on the dry side. If they have the home-baked cakes and pies out, get some. I recommend coming early as they can fill up in the evenings.

We’ve been once. If you like smoked food, you’ll love this place. We went with an impromptu large party later in the evening that surprised them. They handled it well and everyone had a great time and enjoyed their meal.
