“Food? Amazing. Place? Clean. Owner? Great guy. I've been here multiple times and have met the owner quite a number of times during my visits. The food is fantastic. However, today I had seen some issues with one of the guys working up front. After my pizza was done and ready to cut he stood over the cutter and pizza both, wiping the sweat from his forehead and had used his thumb and index finger to pull at his nose (a scratch I assumed.) no one's perfect and working at a pizza place I'm sure is hot and noisy. I just prefer that sort of stuff not to be done over food at a work station. Some may need retraining or an overview of the WPI on cleanliness. Other than that I want to elaborate the food here is fantastic. The owner is awesome and the place is clean. If you get to visit Gainesville, please eat here.”

It's a five star cause I like small places like this. And when you go in try the sweet tea with mint leaves.........it's amazing. Of course I'm southern so I'm kind of partial to sweet tea. “Best BBQ in Georgia. Love the meats and sides. Perfectly smoked (hickory is how we do it in the south BTW), tender moist meats, NEVER any fat because the owners trim the meat to be very lean. The portions are very generous. Staff is friendly and helpful and the place is spotless. I eat at Sherry's at least once a week and the food is consistently good. Only wish they didn't close on Mondays.”

“We were in the area camping for the weekend and decided to get some pizza one night so we tried this place out. We ordered a meat lovers and cheese pizza and they were pretty good, similar to your average pizza chain but maybe slightly better. We usually get Marcos pizza whenever we get takeout/delivery and I didn't think this was nearly as good as Marcos, but it wasn't too bad. If we were in the area again I might go back.”

“I came in today with a young man I support who has developmental disabilities. We took a long time to order but the waitress was so patient and helpful with us. It was awesome to see someone really care about helping us pick something we’d like because we did not know quite what to order. The food was AMAZING. I had the pan pollo and it is easily my new favorite food. The chicken was so tender and the sauce is unlike anything I’ve tasted before! I have an easily upset stomach so I have to be careful what I eat, but holy cow, my tummy approved! My friend ordered the taco salad and he loved it as well! When I went to the bathroom later, my friend went to pay, which he usually needs a bit of assistance to do, and the waitress helped him through the process. What struck me was that she spoke to him like she would any other person, with dignity and respect, whereas a lot of people will speak to him like he’s a child. I appreciate that as much as the food. We’ll definitely be back!”

I called early that morning to let them know I was having a big party come in and then they called later that afternoon to confirm.
