“Stopped here for a quick bite on Sunday morning. The place looks run down on the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised inside. The service was excellent and the food very reasonably priced. The biscuits were absolutely delicious! Just be warned that the restaurant is cash only. Additionally there ARE lottery tickets for sale in the store, so ignore the older reviews that say otherwise.”

“Nice place on the lake, but like most local restaurants, the food and service was a little uneven. I had chicken wings and a salad and my wife had grilled salmon. The chicken wings were good, but they forgot my salad. My wife did not like her salmon; she felt it was not fresh, so our dogs got it. They thought it was delicious. When I eventually got my salad, it was pretty much bagged fare. Oh and we had to sit inside while the rest of the patrons were outside watching the guitar player / singer. We will definitely be back on the boat this summer.”

“The portions are huge! The options are the typical Mexican dishes but many unique ones you will not find at your typical TexMex restaurant. I had a Burrito Verde (pork with a very fresh green sauce). It was huge! And delicious. Came with your typical mexican rice and beans. also had their chicken soup (tortilla soup) and it was excellent. The salsa is probably as good or better than any I have had anywhere. All ingredients for all their selections are very fresh. The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant. There have been a few restaurants at this location. I hope Mi Tierra is around for a long time!”

“Took myself and my kids there for dinner last Sunday. Food was awesome! We had the fried pickles and the corn fritters as an appetizer, highly suggest both! The kids burgers are very nicely portioned for the size. Everything came out quickly with barely any wait. Service was quick and efficient. There is some room to grow, but, it is a new restaurant! I've heard they have a new chef, whom is doing wonders with the timing and execution of the menu. I feel like, with the comments I've read, you should maybe give it another try.”

“When we entered the restaurant it wasn't busy yet so I thought we'd get great service but our visit started with the unfriendly hostess. Our waitress started off great and brought our drinks right away. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer but they were so salty we couldn't eat them. They only tasted like salt and more salt, so much salt you couldn't taste anything but salt. I ordered the veggie burger, it was awesome. Hubby ordered a hamburger which he devoured and my son got the BBQ sandwich which was really good as well. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy but a little too much salt. Our waitress never came by and checked on us to see how everything was or to refill our drinks. If I go back I hope the hostess has a better attitude, I wont order the fried pickles and hope I get a more attentive waitress.”
