However, I was really impressed by how clean the bathroom was. The bathroom smelled really great too. The mirror was as clean as a whistle. The toilet was only slightly dusty but as white as possible. The hand dryer was so clean I could see my reflection. Hands down the cleanest gas station I've ever been to. I don't usually leave reviews but I felt the need to let them know that I was really impressed and I really appriciate them. Staff was good as well.”

“Absolutely delicious BBQ! I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and omg so good. The meat was moist, tender, and just the right amount of smoke flavor! Even the bun was good. It had sort of a sweet Hawaiian flavor but not enough to be overpowering. Nice crispy fries with no grease was a plus too! Price was a bit more than I was expecting but the sandwich was piled high so, well worth a few extra dollars. Definitely get the sweet tea!! Only drawback was a few too many flies in the building. Maybe invest in a bug zapper 😉 We will certainly be back though!!”

“I have had roti from here to NYC and I must say this place has Thr best tasting roti I’ve ever had. SOFT AND OH SO YUMMY!! Food tasted so good it almost made me want to cry…YES, it was that good! My wife and I ended up going to buy more for next days dinner! The pumpkin, peas and roti! WOW!!! Amazing!! The staff is very helpful and kind plus the prices are great! And finally, we are so glad they are here now and local, glad they are here! Best of everything Chef Lou’s and we’ll be back!!”

“This is the second location now and I see why. I have only gotten to try the gizzard meal, but, it was great. The batter is super crispy with lots of flavor and a nice mild kick of pepper. "Angie" is nice and a hard worker, along with their staff. You can sit down and eat, take it to go, or order from one of the food platforms to get it delivered.”

“This is a cute hole in the wall mom and pop shop. Started off as a food truck and now it’s inside of a old house that’s been renovated to be a restaurant. This was my first time here and the owner, Mr. Melvin was super kind and guided me towards the Mac and cheese and oyster mushrooms. I’ve never had oyster mushroom before and these were a home run!!! They’re batter is very flavorful and light - almost tempura like but with a kick. Also, the texture of my head mushrooms are kinda chewy but in a good way. And the mushrooms are served with a delicious dipping sauce - almost like a vegan version of Zax Sauce from Zaxby’s. I’m very weary of vegan Mac and cheese bc it can go very very very wrong. But I must say this mac and cheese went very very very right!! It’s very flavorful and made with love. It’s a little symphony of spice in your mouth. He and his family recently relocated to the McDonough area and My tastebuds are so glad that they did!! It’s a versatile spot bc they serve vegan and non vegan food, but Mr. Melvin has assured me that they are very mindful of cross contamination and cook everything on separate surfaces and in separate oil. I’d definitely recommend this place to vegans and non vegans alike! It’s super affordable and the portion sizes are well worth the price. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items off the menu.”

It was only day two of opening and our food all came out fantastically and ordering was a bit slow but nothing that won’t sort out as everyone (employees and customers) get used to the flow. There’s lots of stuff to look at as you figure out what you want to eat and lots of market and produce items to grab as well. We loved it! I didn’t get many photos of food because my kids were scarfing it fast but the onion rings were fab (a light airy batter which is my fave), and the kids loved their home fries and grilled cheese and hotdog. Oh, and my vegetable beef soup was just like grandma used to make. We will be back!”

The Oxtail, Stew Peas, Curry Goat and Conch soup is off the chain. Try it for your self and you will see what I mean. Definitely one of the best Jamaican restaurant to go to when in Atlanta.
