Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

We are not regulars at Freddy's but it is always a treat when we come. The decor and music evoke memories of the old days. The staff are super friendly. And the food is good. Don't come here for a fat, juicy burger. Freddy's fries them flat. But they taste great all the same. Leave room for desert. They have a frozen custard that is the best around.

Everything I've had tastes good. The prices aren't great, but some things are worth it. Overall, I have good experiences. My order is always correct. The employees are friendly enough. My only complaint is that every time I order something with chili, the bag is filthy. It has chili on it too. Once, the cashier didn't want to touch the bag herself. What made her think I did? In short, I skip this place when I want chili. Other than that, I leave happy.

Great food. Large portions. Fair prices. Great service. After 5:30 it gets full quickly. Big Red chicken sandwich, salmon, fettuccini... Superbly done.

It's not fair for me to judge or review a place like Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak Burgers until I have at least tried numerous items on the menu. This was my first visit so; I will be kind. I had a number 4 which is a Freddy's Original Patty Melt. The sandwich was small and the meat too salty. I noticed that their meat is extremely flattened on the sandwiches.

I'm not use to eating tiny shoestring fries but; I managed to eat a few. The frozen custard was enjoyable! I did speak to a young man in charge of wiping the tables off and sweeping the floor. When my friend and I sat down; our table was dirty and fries were in the booth seat.

Overall my dining experience was okay. I try Freddy's again at a later date.
