Thanks Gavin for taking the best care of us thru your recommendations and attentive service! We had the smoked wings, fried green tomatoes, the pulled chicken with white sauce, and the smoked turkey. All was plentiful and perfectly prepared. We took home banana pudding and lemon pie to eat as we watch the Raiders/Cardinals game.
Food was very good, one if my top 5. Service was great. Would have gave it 5 stars but it took a little longer than I liked to receive our food. Cheddar muffins were great.
I never wish to give anyplace a bad review. However, I believe an honest appraisal might help Jim and Nick's improve in the future. Initially, when our drink order came I had ordered a Coke and I got a Mr. Pibb. No harm they replaced it with the drink I had ordered. The wait time was long but in their favor this was the Sunday lunch crowd. The flavor of everything I ordered was good. But the food wasn't hot. And mid meal it was cold. I thought about returning it but the amount of time we had already waited and the horror stories of sending food back to the kitchen. I decided to just ask for a to go box and heat it up for dinner. I wasn't happy.
This is my 1st time ordering & only God knows how good it was lol. I loved the little biscuits. My 2 year old is loving everything including the watermelon. She ate the macaroni & the mashed potatoes. I'll definitely return
