(July 17, 2019, 9:49 pm)I have only been here on Sunday for the buffet, so read on with that in mind. There are several places around the Athens/Jefferson area that provide a soul food or down home buffet, and I've tried most of them. But, Cabin Creek stands above the rest. I can honestly say that when I eat there, I am transported back to an earlier time when I enjoyed delicious home cooked meals at my grandmother's table. They get people in quickly, the food on the buffet is hot and is constantly refilled, and the price is very reasonable. When you pair all of that with excellent service, you have a real gem!

(June 23, 2019, 2:58 am)Awesome BBQ ! I've ate BBQ from lots of places, but this was definitely top of the list. We had sampler with ribs, pulled pork and brisket. Brunswick stew was as close to my personal family recipe as I have tasted. Impressed enough to say that we will make the 2 hr drive from home to dine again next weekend.

(March 30, 2019, 11:46 pm)Delicious food!! Great service! Everything we tried was sooo good!! The only bad thing is it's only open Friday Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is a lunch buffet 11 - 2.
