Chips and salsa are given to you within minutes of sitting down, and after placing your order, I’ve only waited at most 10 minutes. They’re extremely ALWAYS busy but they’re consistent with their service speed. Friendliness of service: 5 stars I love these guys. They’re friendly and try to make your visit flawless—always kind, positive attitude, and sincere. Food: 4.5 stars Food is always full of flavor and HOT. I recommend the steak plates and any taco. If you like your steak medium rare, like myself, steak might not be the right choice for you, here. It’s typically medium well or well done, but the flavors don’t fail, so I order it every time. This restaurant is a little hole in the wall, but can accommodate parties up to 8-12 people. I would call ahead just in case because they’re ALWAYS busy. That’s just how great their food and service is.”

“I took my husband to there for his Birthday which was our first visit and the food was amazing. I felt like I was at “Big Mommas House “. The service was great and worth the drive. “I love this place so much! My husband and I have come by this place to just grab a hot home cooked meal and everything is absolutely delicious. My favorite thing here is her famous chicken salad, I personally enjoy the jalapeno chicken salad. She also makes desserts such as cookies and cakes. You can even buy just one slice of cake if you prefer. Something else they do which I find really cool is they also sell jarred jams and jellies.”

“The food was good, but the service and overflow room could have some work done to improve. Tonight we were seated in an overflow room because the other room was pretty much full. The room that our table was at was barely lit and we couldn't see our food very well. There was no light other than the dim light in the middle of the room and on the opposite side of the room. It took a long time before the waiter came to get our refills, or bring out the bill. It was my mothers birthday dinner too. That overflow room that we sat at definitely needs some more lighting.”

“We regularly drive by Huck's. Lately, my wife has been craving BBQ. As we drove by this evening, we saw it was open, so we stopped and went in. In appearance, it looked like an old place that was either very good or pretty bad. There was a good number of customers and it was a Monday. We had thought it was a BBQ place, and there was BBQ on the menu. However, there were burgers and shrimp among other items. The young lady that served us was friendly and helpful. We ordered BBQ sandwiches to go along with coleslaw. The bill was reasonable. We ate when we got home. We even discovered pickles in the bag, along with the BBQ sauce and some crackers. Both the sandwiches and the slaw were good, although the slaw needed salt as it was just a bit bland. I believe we'll stop at Huck's again in the future.”
