“Quite inexpensive, and you get a lot, but they definitely skimp on ingredients (i.e. the fried rice had no veggies, egg rolls were mostly cabbage). But it was still tasty nonetheless! They really needed more servers, with only two for both takeout and dining room, it was very slow and a few people left without ordering ... also I understand why people often order takeout - poor aesthetic, and it felt like everyone could hear your conversation.”

“I have only been here on Sunday for the buffet, so read on with that in mind. There are several places around the Athens/Jefferson area that provide a soul food or down home buffet, and I've tried most of them. But, Cabin Creek stands above the rest. I can honestly say that when I eat there, I am transported back to an earlier time when I enjoyed delicious home cooked meals at my grandmother's table. They get people in quickly, the food on the buffet is hot and is constantly refilled, and the price is very reasonable. When you pair all of that with excellent service, you have a real gem!”

“This is a very quaint but seemingly authentic Mexican restaurant. There is a walk up counter to place your order or it seemed like call in orders were also popular. There was plenty of food and it was tasty. The queso was a little different but tasted good. We will definitely be back!! Also they are not cash only anymore!!”
