“Good old fashioned Americana experience!! Even though it seemed like an old establishment, they put love into their food and did not disappoint!! It was a tad disheartening, after tipping our amazing waitress, to literally hear the cook grumble about not also being tipped. It felt terrible and it dampened the amazing experience we had. You should not be made to feel obligated that way. So now in order to have a nice meal, you have to be able to pay double the cost because you have to walk through the establishment tipping the whole staff??? There is a line. The business offers food, we paid the business, and tipped our server. Please allow folks to give as they are able, or even feel led. It felt like a form of bullying. For that, they got 4 stars. The only reason I didnt deduct more, was because it's not fair for the the other remaining awesome aspects to be brought down by one person's poor display of behaviour. Discuss among yourselves pooling the tips or something. It's not nice or fair to do that to your customers.”

“My wife and I stopped at Home Fresh Bistro for lunch on our way through Georgia. The restaurant is a family run business that was clean and the food was great. The service was friendly and fast also. Our orders were taken quickly, the food was brought out soon after, and our drinks were kept full. I ordered the Grilled Cheese (and added ham to it). The bread on the sandwich was delicious. It really complimented the cheese and ham. My wife ordered the smoked turkey sandwich. She said her sandwich was good as well. It's worth mentioning again how clean it was in the restaurant (including the bathrooms). It definitely was not a "dive" style diner.”
