Back Porch Oyster Bar is closed

Eaten here three times and have been impressed every time. It's not cheap. But the few times a year I eat seafood I want it to be very good and fresh. I feel like I get what I pay for.

We live on the coast of Ga and were blown away at how fresh and delicious our seafood choices were. Great customer service in a nice comfortable atmosphere. The fish and chips were better than some we have had in British pubs. Truly a treasure in a lovely little mountain town.

My husband and I brought our little dog and had dinner on the back porch. What a great experience. Andrew and Jack made us feel right at home, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend it. Good time, good food. Very nice staff.

Here is what you'll get at the Oyster Bar, fresh seafood, great ambiance, owners that care enough to visit your table (Trish and Lee), local wines, and an experience you'll enjoy and remember. You can tell when the owners of restaurants do it because they love it, not just to make a buck. The oysters are fresh, but you'll pay for that quality; the shrimp and grits are the best I've ever had, and the calamari will surprise you. This is the kind of place you take out-of-town company to, because its unique and won't disappoint. I've been there many times and it ranks on my top ten list of places to eat. Enjoy
