Capers on the Square

Great place for lunch in Dahlonega and very conveniently located. The food was great and the appetizers were our favorite. We got fried calamari and hummus - so good! The entrees were food too, very fresh. Be aware when ordering gyros, they are very authentic and aren't cooked the same way that most are. We weren't expecting it and some didn't like them. It would be great if the restaurant also offered the more common option for the cook on lamb that most people are used too, but it's very cool that they offer the traditional authentic Greek option. We were most impressed with the great customer service from everyone and especially the owner who came over and talked to us. It's a great spot, give it a try!

Needed an afternoon snack today and went in for the first time and shared an order of calamari with my wife. It was perfectly cooked and loved the two dipping sauces. My wife is not a big calamari fan but I think she ate as many as I did. The staff was super nice and the atmosphere and music were both very relaxing. We’ll be back soon!

Amazing food. Seriously. Great selection of wine and beer. Fun cocktails. Great service. Would give a 10 out of 5 if Google let me.

The hummus was delicious. The rest of the food (a couple gyros and a burger) were less than exciting. Given the rating, I was expecting the food to be really good. The table was small for four. Service was okay, but nothing extraordinary.
