My husband and I were there Tuesday for our Anniversary and I will tell you, I am an excellent cook and this food was off the chain. I was Actually jealous of the Shrimp and grits recipe! 😛 The Scallops were the Best I've ever eaten and the Pimiento cheese Fritters were genius. We're returning tonight with our neighbors, because we haven't shut up about the Awesome food in 2 days! See you in a couple of hours!

Let's start with the good. Location is wonderful, sitting on the back deck was very nice. The staff was very friendly but could of been a bit more attentive being there were not many tables. No one came to our table after the food was served.
The Georgia Po-Boy was very good and had a nice amount of shrimp. We had the Grilled Shrimp Skewer which was two skewers over a bed of Orzo. It was a really nice size portion considering it was an appetizer. The grilled shrimp had nice flavor, but they were barely warm when they reached our table. I like my food to be hot when it hits my table. The Orzo was properly cooked but had no flavor at all, none. It was just tossed with olive oil and did not appear to have any seasoning at all.
The Salt & Pepper Shrimp with Fried Green Tomato had a very nice presentation. The fried shrimp were cooked perfectly, but we did not taste any salt or pepper. They were rather tasteless.
Since Spartina Grill is new, and they say they are a work in progress, we will try them again next time we are in town.

Had lunch on a Friday afternoon, early-in and became noticeably busy (great for them), staff were responsive, timely, and friendly. Shayln C was a great server. Shared the Red Fish Tacos (YUM-E): fresh, tender/well seasoned fish (sauce on point--whipped avocado cream), alongside a side of fries. I returned during the same weekend and discovered their delicious gravy biscuits along with the salt & pepper shrimp. It was evident that a lot of thought and effort goes into their menu items (quality is high). Necessary bonus points: clean, varied seating options--in & out, & phenomenal water views!
