Town 220 Restaurant

This is my favorite "local" restaurant outside Athens, GA, where I live. I've dined here at least 35 times over the past several years (beginning soon after it opened). Only once have I had a bad meal. Overall, the staff and managers are professional but also friendly and courteous. Because we visit at least once a month on average (often twice), many of the staff recognize us and stop by our table to chat. We've come to know a few of them well enough to ask about their families and their continuing creative endeavors. In short, it feels like home away from home. I highly recommend it.

Always a special dinner at Town 220! Our go to celebration spot and the food never disappoints! All four of us swore our entree was the best! We highly recommend Town 220!

Quality Meals... so great. You will not be disappointed in the menu and service. I look forward to a return visit. The bill was fair for the quality of the food.

We tried Town 220 for the first time the other day, and we surely enjoyed it.
I like to rate places through categories to try and break it down to make my score more understandable.
SERVICE: The service was okay. Our waitress was kind, but not super friendly. She was very monotoned, and didn’t seem to be filled with much excitement. However, she got her job done, and made sure we were taken care of! For that, the service gets a 3/5.
FOOD/PRODUCT: The food was spectacular! It was so fresh and full of flavor! It was very filling, and the portions were plentiful and presented so well. I give it a 5/5.
CLEANLINESS: The establishment was nearly spotless. I didn’t see a spec of dust on the floor! However, my glass had some dry food on it, and my bread plate had something stuck to it. Luckily, there were extra of each on our table, so I just switched them out. The dishes should be checked in a more thorough manor, but everything else was sparkly clean! I give this category a 4/5.
SPEED: In the beginning, it took a while to get served. We waited about 12 minutes after being seated before someone came to our table to greet us. Our drinks and extras took more time than I believe necessary to come out, but the food came out rather soon after we placed the order. That saves the category from being slim to none, and I generously give it a 3/5.
VALUE: The pricing was such a nice aspect. It cost me less to treat my family to lunch here, than it would at a Longhorn or something of comparison. With the quality of the food, and the nice dining room, the value is 100% present! That is a 5/5!
These scores average out to 4/5.
Every restaurant has their good and bad days though, and I hope next time I attend (which I will return) that I get to change my rating to all 5 stars!

No complaints here!! The restaurant is clean, the service is excellent, and the menu has great variety. Madison Ga doesn’t offer a ton when it comes to restaurants. This place knows it and capitalizes on it, by offering delicious food. Have been to this restaurant twice, no complaints.
