Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

My coworker always trash talks Zaxby's but gets it all the time anyways. If that doesn't deserve 5 stars, I don't know what does.

I’ve eaten at this Zaxby’s many times and it’s been consistently good! Most of the time the staff is very friendly, and my food is always hot and fresh. Yesterday, I picked up a meal on my lunch break and as usual the food was great, except when I went to take my first sip of sweet tea there was a DEAD FLY floating in it. Yum. There is so way this happened in the car. My drink was completely covered, so it had to have happened at the restaurant. I was heartbroken, I don’t like writing back reviews but as someone who has put in years of work in the food industry in the past I felt I needed to say something. If it was my restaurant, I would have wanted to know. It’s so important to keep the ice troughs and tea earns covered especially during the summer months. No one wants bugs in their food ???? I called the store, explained the situation, and let them know they should probably change out the sweet tea. I gave 3 stars instead of just 1 because of all the other great experiences I’ve had in this Zaxby’s before, but the dead fly infused sweet tea has me not wanting to go back for a while ????

We ordered 2 salads and a chicken finger plate with lemonades and sweet tea. The salads were fresh and delicious. We did not however get the toast that comes with either of the salads. The all in one drink machine was OUT of all lemon drinks!!! We had to ask the cashier to get lemonade from the drive thru drink machine in the back.. The dining room drink machine was not refilled by the time we had eaten; as we went to get refills to go...still empty! Frustrating to say the least. Sad that TRAINING & CUSTOMER SERVICE are LAST on the list!!!

We grabbed some food to take on a picnic and it tasted great! Loved the fries. The staff was kind and prompt in getting my order taken care of.
