The Place Tavern

Great place to go...GREAT FOOD, good atmosphere. Just needs more people to be at the establishment to make it FUN!!!

The food is fantastic and the service is great!! Tina was our server and she took great care of us. We sat outside on the patio with a cool breeze blowing and delicious food. We highly reccomend the Cajun Shrimp and Cheese Grits Cakes, but everything we’ve ordered here has been really good. Come check it out!

My husband and I have been to the location in Marietta many times and love it but this location lacks quiet a bit. There is never large crowds at this location and I feel it is hindered a bit due to several things. First off, they do not advertise, they don't allow smoking on their patio and the inside needs a facelift in the restaurant section. They needs to offer live bands and a little better dim lighting in the restaurant section. The night we went, the bar section was the only thing happening that night and most of the people were friends my daughter brought over there with her. We would love to see this establishment to better so we could visit more often. Its close to our home and would give us another place to escape to every so often but who wants to go to a place to have a fun night that no one is ever at. This could be an awesome bar if some much needed changes would take place. Hiring live bands that promote their gigs and has a following would certainly bring a larger crowd and bring a larger revenue.
