Bone Island Grillhouse

We travel more than 45 min (each way) to eat at BIG, and our most recent trip was an absolute disaster (we've been maybe 8 times in the past couple of years). Our food was delivered to the wrong table (twice), one order was incorrect, desserts were brought without spoons, drinks were eft empty, and to top it all off, someone (a cook, maybe?) spilled another table's order (red sauce) on my son and his brand new white shirt.
We did speak with a manger, and she provided exceptional customer service. It is only because of her that we will return.

If you like calamari, order it here! Theirs is DELICIOUS!! I especially like the fried shrimp, the shrimp and grits, the lobster pasta...ok, I've loved everything I ordered here! Plus, the family style salad is fabulous too.

The food and service were both excellent. One thing to note is that salad comes with the meal, which is brought out in a bowl for the table to share. It had pumpernickel croutons in it that were very tasty. I had the blackened grouper and it was cooked just right. It also has outdoor eating, but this was closed due to a storm coming through. Very good.

The food was great! I personally had their burger but our table had 6 entrees. Everything was great. After having a burger at every place around, this one was by far the best! Everyone loved their food!
