Might be a little pricey for lunch, but it was worth it. It was pretty crowded for a Saturday afternoon. The chicken salad melt (I had it without the melt) was very flavorful. I'm guessing they used pesto. And my husband had a huge reuben. Loved the upscale rustic decor.
Such a great dinner. We went there for our anniversary and the customer service was amazing! My wife and I both have severe shell fish and seafood allergies. They were able to accommodate everything and kept checking with us.
We had so much fun eating here. Nice upscale setting and menu but not stuffy. Friendly, knowledgeable service. Nice people!
whomever thought Clayton didn't have a food scene....wake up. This place is changing that narrative. Squash, meatloaf, craft soups, burgers, trout, and a Reuben sandwich that is a must try. What makes this Reuben different is the house made slaw and Russian dressing. Even if you don't get a Reuben, getting a side of the Russian dressing is worth a try. You could probably put it on anything, and in the words of Guy, " you could put that on a flip-flop, and it would be good". So, check out Fortify the next time your near Clayton, I'm sure it will impress.
