Southbound Smokehouse- Augusta

Great wings and awesome service from our waiter Brandon! Food was hot and fresh. We all ordered the different flavors of wings and everyone was happy.

Absolutely loved this smokehouse. The size of the 1/3 rib was tremendous. They also have a wonderful selection of sauces. The platter I had came with ribs, wings, chicken, pulled pork and two sides! More than worth the money I spent on it. Coming back to this place will be an easy choice.

Southbound has a solidly developed menu. The food we've tried on two separate occasions was really delicious! I wouldn't recommend the "homemade salsa" - it lacks any real flavor profile. Our waitstaff on both occasions were great - super friendly, attentive and efficient. The ambience is what you'd expect at a smokehouse restaurant/bar and night music event venue.
Overall, Southbound gets a solid two thumbs up. We'll be going back for sure!

Very good. Fresh food. We went during off hours so our service was very fast. Staff was excellent. A wide variety of choices. We enjoyed all three BBQ sauce flavors. There is a stage for live music inside. There is also a very nice covered patio area. Very enjoyable and we will be back.

We had a great experience here! It was a very busy Saturday night so service was a little slow but still friendly and good service. They seem to have regular live entertainment (unfortunately we weren't able to stay to check out anyone). Casual, fun atmosphere with low lighting (at least in the late evening).
We shared the cheese bites which were awesome and had just the right amount of heat. We each got a platter, my husband the chicken tenders and myself the pulled pork. His was just the right amount of food, I think it was about 4 tenders plus the sides. Mine was enormous! I literally ate half, maybe a little less, and took the rest as leftovers. The drink menu is worth a look. We got the Pink Floyd drink and it was so incredible! Definitely will be back next time we're in Augusta!
