Outback Steakhouse

It has been a while since I ate at an Outback. The bloomin petals were great and a nice serving size. A major issue was a hair in my salad. The waitress, and the cook staff, corrected the problem by replacing the salad.

Being retired from the USAF, it was nice of them to give a 10% discount to veteran's.

This was really a mixed experience.

Very nice and friendly staff the restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere. I order a steak that was very chewy, tough and unseasoned. My salad was delicious. My server Dee was amazing

So this is a 2 part review which is why its 3 stars. Below is the original and the edit is what has happened today.
If I could give zero stars I would. This is the SECOND time finding some other food in my ranch. I was forgiving the first time, but this is ridiculous. Why am I paying for contaminated food. Like seriously how hard is it to check the food before you take it to a customer.

Edit- I went back since the manager handled the situation very well. I went to curbside and the manager had came out made sure we were happy with what we got and apologized for our previous experience. I'm happy to say that so far it's worth the third chance I'm giving them and I'm very thankful that the managers handled it the way they did. Which is why I changed my review rating to a 3.

Great server and great food. I would highly recommend this place. Our server was an African American female with a tongue piercing, she was one of the best waitresses I've ever seen. Constantly keeping our glasses full and food coming. Meeting every need. She was great, I only wish I caught her name.

Loved it! None of us were able to finish our food. It was delicious. Had the special with loaded potato soup(a little salty), 6 oz sirloin medium (cooked perfectly), loaded baked potato (nice size), and seasonal vegetables. Significant other had the 12 oz. We were both super pleased. Now we have our cheesecake waiting for us. Spoke to Matt, manager on duty, very polite. We asked to speak to the manager because it was just that good. Definitely taking the place of Longhorns in my book.
