El Charro Mexican Grill

We followed the recommendations from this restaurant, and we weren’t disappointed. I had some of the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had and I had quite a few down in Mexico. The queso and chorizo dip was plentiful. Very tasty just to my liking true the chips could be a little lighter and thinner, but You’ll do the baby out with the bathwater so I’ll be back

Our first time was Friday on the 23rd of June. I try to look on the bright side of everything but there wasn't any bright sides. We were seated at our table and from then on it was down hill. I have never had tortilla chips that were as bad as these. We even soaked them in lime juice and they were still dry. Nothing like home made ones. The salsa was pretty good. A little heat but not to much. I ordered the fajita burrito ,it's one of my favorite foods. The waitress brought it to the table and said be careful it's hot but it wasn't. It was so over cooked that the chicken was like jerky and the tortilla was like cutting through a tree limb. Tasted great, just almost impossible to eat it. Now why didn't I send it back. It took nearly an hour to get the food and my friend Karol gave up on getting his and just told them to make it to go. We had already eaten and he still didn't have his dinner. They took his dinner and gave it to someone else and then forgot what he ordered. There isn't much authentic about the food. It's mostly generic American Mexican food. If you want great Mexican food go to Robbinsville NC or Tellico Plains Tn. Both places are fantastic. This was a disaster. The place looked clean. Everyone was nice. Hoping they do better in the future.

We went Friday afternoon and there is plenty of seating and the food was very good the waitress was nice and fast! We will be back!

This restaurant is absolutely stunning! So much room, very clean, huge beautiful bar, nice music playing. Food came fast, hot, and fresh! Fresh warm tortilla chips served with salsa that I just want to bottle up and take home! IMPRESSIVE 👍

Quality and quantity of food is amazing! Always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Servers are friendly and check back with you. Drink was never empty!

Best Mexican restaurant in town! The food is excellent & the service is unbeatable. Authentic food with full bar. Very nice views. Highly recommended.
