Banzai Japanese Steak House

Truly a lovely experience. Wonderful atmosphere, kind and attentive staff and the hibachi chefs are hilarious and engaging. Worth every cent.

There was an hour wait for the actual hibachi which was understandable on a Saturday evening. However the tables were wide open so we sat down to enjoy an item from the menu. Overall, the plate was good, great presentation and portion. The rice was a little on the salty side but not so much as to be a nuisance. The steak was cooked to order which shouldn't be but is always a plus for me. The only downside is they seemed to be understaffed as the chefs took turns tending the bar while the main bartending was waiting on tables. All in all a nice evening out!

One chef was incredibly loud and animated, while our chef was quieter and tried less to show off. Pick your poison. Service was mediocre, as she basically ignored us once we ordered. None of us were offered refills on water. She also did not bring everyone their checks at the same time, so that added unnecessary time to checking out. One of my party did not get his sushi without trying desperately to flag down a waitress. Sushi is definitely overpriced. I ordered the sushi combo which comes with chef’s selection, but the chef chose octopus as one. Rolled the dice poorly on that choice as the octopus remained uneaten. The think the food was less flavorful than I have had at other hibachi style places, but it wasn’t bad.

Great entertainment value with wonderful food. Prices are on par for typical Hibachi restaurants. Great service and the meal preparation was excellent. Our chef made us laugh all throughout the cooking of our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant! We shall return.
