Gus's Grill

We had breakfast here before building beds with the Lagrange chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Food was delicious. The hash is phenomenal!

This place is the epitome of small town, family-run restaurant. Very nice staff and Gus is always in the back working the grill (regardless of the day and time). While their lunch is good, their breakfast is phenomenal and very reasonably priced for the portions. A true hidden gem of Lagrange and, as a local, definitely a place worth stopping by for good food, fast service, and a truly loving family that runs the restaurant. By far the best food in Lagrange.

Good food without a lot of variety and excellent service showcase this small restaurant in LaGrange. And I’m not kidding when I say small. We had to wait a few minutes, but they turned and cleared a table for my family of five very quickly. Standard dinner fare is served quickly and is very enjoyable. There’s little to no parking, and it’s only open for breakfast and lunch, but that’s not unusual. My one quibble would be the name as it’s not what I would expect from a place name “grill.” It’s a diner.

Nice homey breakfast and super affordable pricing. I had a smoked sausage link biscuit with cheese. The biscuits are just like the one your Grandma used to make on Saturday mornings. The sausage and eggs are just as good. Will be back!

Stopped here today randomly and didn't know what to expect. Service is a little slow but the wait staff is very friendly. Prices are very affordable and the menu is just big enough to be interesting but small enough you aren't searching forever. Portion sizes are generous and my party left with happy stomachs. If I'm in LaGrange again during breakfast I'll definitely visit.
