One Love Island and Soul Food Restaurant

This place is awesome, the food is excellent! I'm not really into trying new foods but I figured I'd give it a try for once and I was definitely impressed! I will definitely be taking a special trip from Midway where I live to jessup just to come eat there at One Love, kudos to the chef definitely!

The owner/chef was AMAZING! Food was prepared and seasoned perfectly! I got the salmon and shrimp with the shrimp Mac and cabbage and was so IMPRESSED! This guy knows what he's doing in that kitchen! Good music, friendly atmosphere, we WILL return!

I went to the bakery across the street and noticed this restaurant. When I walked through the door I was greeted by everyone that worked there. The restaurant was very clean and the music made the atmosphere just rite.

I ordered oxtails with rice, cabbage and macaroni and cheese. I also ordered shrimp curry with rice and a double order of cabbage and lastly a specialty drink which had an out of this world blend. The food was fresh, hot and very delicious. If you have not tried this restaurant, give them a try.

Our first visit..Food is off the chain good! Will be back again soon !! Portions are huge! Even ordered more empanadas to take home!! The Oxtails melted in my mouth..red beans were out of this world.. also got another order to take home..will try the Curry Goat next time.. can't wait..get there early cause they had sold out of the Snapper I was going to order after reading reviews.. should have taken pictures.. will next visit..

One Love Island and Soul Food Restaurant has handmade fresh food and a cheerful atmosphere. The people were extremely kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend it!
