Old Bavaria Inn Restaurant

The food here is good. It is in one of the alley ways just off the main street. The pretzels are shipped in from overseas and are one of the best i have ever had. The prices are reasonable and it is a very friendly and up beat atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly. I had the rueben and i really liked it. If you are looking to go to the country for a nice meal and relaxing environment this is the place. They have a good menu with a good variety to choose from.

Food excellent although somewhat above my pricing. Good service. Would go there again. Seemed to be more adult oriented.

Great authentic German food and friendly service. Excellent imported beer selection! Hearty portions. I highly recommend it. It's been a must for us on every visit to Helen since 1999.

After numerous visits to this quaint Bavarian style restaurant, it is now at the top of my list of favorite places to go in Helen Ga., and is much more authentic than most other German restaurants that I’ve frequented. (I’ve lived in German and am familiar with their fabulous cuisine)

Every time I visit Helen I try to dine here with one of my favorite go-to meals being their Sauerbraten and red cabbage. (which I can rarely find elsewhere as it’s preparation. process is very time consuming).

Favorite German restaurant in Helen. Pretzels on point, beer selection is wide and pricing is about as expected. Food menu is selective and everything is done well.

Has a great old world feel and there have been musical acts playing time to time. Location is right in the strip so it's easy to visit. Staff has always been friendly and attentive.
