Rib Country BBQ (Helen, GA)

All outdoor seating so even with ceiling fans it can be hot. The ribs were good but not real meaty. They fries are very good and the onion rings are great. The double cheeseburger was delicious. They have a very limited menu, so it doesn't take too long to pick what you want. Our waitress was excellent, but also had a large group that took a lot of her time. She was apologetic and brought us both to-go drinks also. The sweet tea there is spot-on!

This was a very good barbecue restaurant! Persons in my party had pulled pork, BBQ ribs, Brunswick stew, and smoked turkey. Every single person enjoyed their meal and remarked how tasty it was. It's a large restaurant with plenty of roomy seating. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. They have some items that are Specialties of there's but one you don't want to miss is the fried apple pie!

Good food, friendly servers. Took them about 5 mins to realize we needed to be helped but their good food and good service made up for it. I enjoyed taking the ice out of my drink and throwing it at the people tubing down the river beside us.

First off, I got here at an odd time, 3:30pm. Too late for lunch and too early for dinner. Most places aren’t equipped well for that timeframe. Not the case with Rib Country. I was blessed to have Dylan for a waiter. I pulled in thinking I’d get some smoked wings. They had them and I’m sure they would have been fine. But Jason told me about the daily special, burnt ends. Either as s sandwich or a plate. I opted for the plate with a side salad and fries. Dylan brought the salad first and gave me time to eat it before the burnt ends came out. That’s a definite sign of a well coordinated waiter and kitchen staff. The salad was excellent, fresh and crisp with plenty of dressing. The burnt ends were exactly as Jason described them. The portion size was great as were the burnt ends and the fries. Excellent food brought out by an excellent waiter. Thank you Rib Country and thank you Jason!
