The Troll Tavern

Simply delicious German style food! Loved that they had vegan substitutes for most of the meal options. They had Beyond Meat burgers, sausages, cauliflower tacos and more. The patio views are nice too, along the river. Would come back again if I'm ever in in Helen, Georgia. Would have loved to see more sauces on the table, but otherwise everything was good. Also, I don't remember seeing the wine menu but they have a variety of wines if you ask.

Just like the name suggests it is under the bridge. It is a really great place with great staff. They are all really nice. Great location right on the river. During the day sit and watch the tubes floating by. The drinks and food are excellent. Been here several times over the years and it's always consistent. If you get one of the mugs you can drink cheaper throughout town as well. You cant go wrong visiting this place while in town.

It was nice. The weather was gorgeous so sitting outside is what we did. It was clean and the service was delightful. The food was excellent! We had the best and the Reuben: both really tasty. I'd go again ???? and you get to watch people float down the river, so that was cool as well.
