Two Tire Tavern

We stopped here on a whim because it smelled really good and it was starting to rain. The food was delicious! We got the pretzel appetizer with beer cheese. It came out warm and delicious. My mom and I both ordered burgers. They were both really juicy and cooked to perfection! Definately a must stop while in Helen!!

Great German town in a mountain valley. Part of the fun is the drive to get there. Once there you will find authentic German food. With buildings made to look like a German town. And of coarse some bars with German beer. Great place to visit!

Food was fresh, hot & delicious! Potato pancakes were life and the Bavarian pretzel was amazing. Extremely friendly staff with phenomenal service. Restrooms were exceptionally clean as well. Recommend 10/10!

Stefanie was really nice and accommodating. Everyone checked on us and made sure we were enjoying our experience. We were tourist and not sure where to go. The owner gave us recommendations of places to take the kids. Great service, food, and overall experience here!

My wife and I spent a few days in Helen last week and were highly disappointed in the quality of food that we were served at several restaurants that we visited. The Two Tire Tavern was the exception. I had the half pound burger which was juicy, not burned, and full of flavor. My wife had the potato soup which was excellent. Since it was a nice evening, we sat on the patio which was clean and comfortable, and our waitress Amanda made sure that we were well cared for. If you are ever in Helen, this restaurant is well worth the visit.
