Antojo Cocina y Cantina

I cannot say enough good about this restaurant. My family and I eat here nearly every week, and we continue to bring more people with us to try it. It’s currently our favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh, hot, and very flavorful. The environment is clean and well decorated. The staff is friendly. We have tried a lot of items on the menu, and we are never disappointed. Eat here, and order the avocado rolls!

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. That includes Javiers in Newport Beach (at a price point 4x more)! Excellent service and fantastic drinks. Highly recommend. Wish they were closer to Chattanooga!

The chicken was okay. It had flavor and tenderness to it. The rice tasted like it was heated up in the microwave. As I took bites the center of my bed of rice was good but as I made my way towards the edge it was rather hard/over cooked rice. It's been a couple days since my visit. A customer should remember the experience as an extremely positive one and not recall the bad experience just by hearing their name, especially with the name being "Antojo" which means craving. Cook like you're being critiqued everytime you hand out a plate to the customer. I'm leaving a 5 star review to not affect the algorithm after a response from the owner and because your dessert was great it saved the meal but future customers may not be so kind. One day I hope to return and will give a critical review. I expected any meal to live up to the restaurant's name "Antojo" "craving" and on this visit unfortunately it didn't. I will be back to see if the food lives up to the business's name.

Wife and I ate here on a Sunday afternoon.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted!

The food here is a bit expensive but it is worth it. I got the chimichanga with shredded chicken. The chicken was full of flavor and it was moist. The cheese sauce was excellent. The rice was seasoned really well. It was a great meal.

My wife got the chicken fajitas and they were prepared excellent. The chicken was flavorful and not dry.

All and all it was a great experience. Will be putting this restaurant on our rotation of places to eat.

Also get the chips and salsa. It’s only 2 bucks for great salsa.

Antojo is a New Mexican restaurant in downtown Dalton right beside Dalton Brewery Company. I went with my family and was blown away by the service, the location and of course the food! I thought everything on the menu was well priced and they even have HOMEMADE cheese cake! I will definitely be back.
