Great traditional style Japanese food. Servers were quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable for good quality Japanese food. $$
After much urgings from friends, we finally decided to give Kabuki Restaurant a try and we are so happy we did. The restaurant looks small from the outside but it is actually very spacious inside. We went to lunch on a Saturday and there was no line at all. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going but we didn't feel crowded. We actually stayed for a couple of hours and the petite , cute, older server was so accommodating. She was so attentive but not hovering. We ordered the bento lunch with the butter fish. It was melt in your mouth good.It was tender, flavorful, and just perfect. The restaurant is so authentic looking we felt we were back in Japan. We love this restaurant and we plan on dining here regularly.
Teishoku was amazing for the price. Also decided I'd treat myself to something sweet and it was totally worth it it! If you're on the fence, it's definitely worth the time to check out Kabuki.
Dinner was good. We had Hamachi sashimi appetizer. It was melt in your mouth, delicious! I ordered the vegetable tempura. I was a little disappointed. I didn't care for green bell pepper tempura. I guess I was expecting the shredded carrots, onion, and green bean tempura. There was a small piece, but the bell peppers over powered the appetizer. It was still delicious.
I would give it another star if it was a little more updated, but we do like the food.
