Sandy's Sandwiches

The Universe brought me to Sandy's as the place we originally planned to visit had moved to a different location. We were so hungry and I spotted Sandy's across the street. I'd read about Sandy's so many times on Yelp, but since I rarely come out to the North Shore, I'd never had the opportunity to visit them. Ryan, the owner and operator, greeted us with a smile and took our order. He told us that Sandy's is named after his Mom and that instantly made me so happy that we decided to pull on the side of the road to try this little hidden gem.

My friend Meg ordered a veggie sandwich and I got the basic cheeseburger. We waited about ten minutes and he called us when our orders were ready to go. We were both famished from a day of yoga at Turtle Bay and took our sandwiches to the car to consume right away. It was so crazy because both sandwiches were the BEST we'd ever had! The veggie sandwich, which appeared to be so basic, had so much flavor. My cheeseburger, although simple just melted in my mouth. I kept alternating bites of the veggie sandwich and the cheeseburger, trying to decide which one I enjoyed more. I still can't decide and the next time I go back I'm going to order BOTH!

Ryan really puts his heart into what he does and there are no words which can properly describe the feeling you get when you eat his food. He just wants you to be happy and that's the secret sauce! If you love a simply meal full of joy then you'll definitely have to pay a visit to Sandy's Sandwiches.

Was absolutely starving post-surf when I stumbled upon this food truck. They were out of a few ingredients but assembled a sandwich that was perfect for my needs. Very friendly staff!

Great sandwiches made with aloha! Short wait because magic is happening in that shack! If recommends adding lemon to your sandwich just do it! Definitely adds a good flavor. Takes cash or Venmo only

The sign said the best burger on the North Shore and it may have been right. The burger was delicious! My wife had a salad that she really enjoyed as well. Glad we stopped there for lunch.

The best turkey sandwich I’ve had in a long time! He ran out of Brie cheese and asked if mozzarella would be okay and I love all cheese so said of course! The cheese was super thick (see image!)I added avocado to the sandwich and since he ran out of cheese he added extra avocado! Husband had a double decker burger and loved it too! A must go to if you’re near by! Perfect for lunch after snorkeling.
