Highly recommend the Passion fruit Green tea and the Taiwanese Vermicelli. Great place with great sevice. Plenty of free parking.
Food is always good here. This shop probably has the most authentic Taiwanese snack/food on the island. Their drink menu is pretty extensive but I would say they are not as good as their food. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea which I think it’s comprised of whole milk, brown sugar, and bubba and it was good. But they put in so much ice! Like almost half of the cup.....you can imagine the whole milk tasted more like skim milk.....
We are definitely OBSESSED with Dragon tea's grape green tea with aloe. And then we found out about recently updated original Taiwanese snacks/food, such as the egg pancakes, fried chicken with basil leaves, and beef noodles. We have been their fan since it was at the previous locations for years. The new location is very convenient to access with massive parking spots. The grape green is a must try. It's blended with fresh grapes which is healthier than others, and aloe is a must add to the tea. It's a nice place to chill or enjoy some food. Service is great!
I’ve been to this place for a long time and they have moved to Kalihi which is really convenient for me. They have lot of food items that are delicious and healthy. The food is from their local Taiwan, you can taste the deliciousness in their food!!!! I recommend the watermelon green tea it’s really refreshing and not too sweet. All of their drink it have a good balance of sweetness. If you ever run into dragon tea, it’s a must try!!
So this place is well known for it's popular bubble tea, but the food is fantastic and you are really missing out if you don't try it. Menu is not vast, but there is a good variety if items to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. Food is made fresh for you and comes out hot. Very tasty and satisfying dishes. The Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup has a good kick to it, but if that is too much for you, they have the same thing with out the spiciness called the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The Braised Pork on Rice is some amazing flavor action going on along with contrasts in with different ingredients used.
What is also very nice is the presentation of the food. It isn't just thrown at in some cheep paper plate or generic dish. The food is nicely arranged in an attractive dish.
Service here is always attentive and friendly. They seem to really care about your order and delivering it to you with care and respect.
So before you just think of this place as another trendy bubble tea joint, take a look at the menu and remember my review. The food is great here and prices are very reasonable.
