(August 18, 2018, 9:55 am)Situated in working neighborhood this no frills decor still brings in the locals for hearty Hawaiian fare! The loco moco uses fresh (as opposed to frozen) beef and is really stick to your ribs filling!

(September 17, 2017, 2:15 am)We got mochiko chicken and garlic chicken. Not sure if we came at the wrong time -- the garlic chicken tasted as though they pre-fried the chicken and just pour the sauce in a wok and reheated it -- the chicken meat was very hard and dry. I had to pass it because I was afraid I might break my teeth.
As to mochiko chicken, I was okay with it. They put five spice in the mochiko chicken, I know some people might not appreciate it...
That said, we probably will come back for the loco moco next time...not sure about the chicken plates though.
