This place was wonderful, a must try. You can’t be disappointed. Everyone loves great food at a great price.

Menu changes daily. Plate lunch for 8.50 + comes with 3 sides (we did double toss and Mac salad, but rice was the 3rd option). They make their own Ceasar dressing it’s da bomb!

Sadly, I didn't discover Ronnie's until a week before I moved off island. I actually went twice before I left. Their food is good and the staff is friendly. It is not healthiest food but it it is some of the tastiest food. Highly recommend those looking for cheap, good eats.

Review & photos are for Ronnie's Express, the food truck launched from the brick and mortar Ronnie's Kitchen.

Sharon (Ronnie's wife) is manning the truck, parked at the parking lot on the left on Aolele St., about 11 a.m. to about 2 p.m. Menu is limited, but very good. Sharon will erase menu items off the truck's outside menu board as they sell out, but be warned, most of the big hits like barbecue chicken and pork adobo go fast.

Desserts are very good as well; simple but just the right thing to balance the plate lunch. Try the cherry cheese shortbread cake.

Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. Each plate weighs if not more than a pound, at least a pound. Fresh greens tossed with a little bit of Caesar salad dressing and croutons, rice, and a lot of proteins.

Don't let the food truck exterior scare you. Food is cooked at the brick-and-mortar location, and is well done.

A favorite for Airline workers and everybody in the area who knows where to get good food without overpaying, this little food truck is cranking it out. Down 2 stars because would love a credit card option & to see the state inspector's "pass" notice posted clearly (although I have not had any problems with the food there, and don't know anyone else who has, it would be reassuring to see). Extra star for customer service that feels like your favorite aunty is cooking--Sharon remembers folks and will personally text you today's specials if you ask.

Visit their brick-and-mortar location for an expanded menu and seating.

Canned drinks include sodas, tea, and water.

    Cash only.

    Would return.
