The Lanai At Mamala Bay

Terrible customer service from the waitstaff, mediocre food, and can really use an upgrade. The only reason why it's not a 1 star, is that the manager took care off us after our horrible experience with my wife and 3 girls. I'm willing to give them another shot....just not anytime soon.

The wait for our food was very long. The waitresses were very slow and inefficient. It fidnt seem like there was a lot of people there. There was 1 big table of 12 people and our group was 8 and there were a couple of other tables but nothing major. Not sure what the big hold up was. Food was good but a little cold by the time it got to me. If you want to have a couple of drinks and some calamari, great. But if youre having dinner, good luck with the wait. A nice looking restaurant on the water but I wish service was better. The menu was a little small too. It was mostly burgers. Slater 50/50 is pretty good though. So Id give it 3.5 stars.

Friendly courteous staff and great location. Enjoy good food while taking in the view of the ocean and the planes taking off/landing at the runway. Service seems to be a little slower than a normal restaurant but that's just all the more time you have to take in the sights.
