The Original Roy's in Hawaii Kai

During this time of COVID-19 it’s been challenging for everyone to hunker down and stay at home. Roy’s has been making great efforts to put together delicious individual and large family meals. Easy to call in, select a pick up time, & then park and walk up to the window to pick up. So easy, you don’t have to cook, and at such reasonable prices! They have daily and weekend specials and a select to go menu to order from. They even make drinks to go! Support local!

Roys in Hawaii Kai is a great, family friendly, upscale restaurant where you can experience Asian Fusion and other classic dishes. My son opted for the filet mignon and the server gladly accommodated his request for buttered pasta on the side rather fingerling potatoes that usually come with the meal. We chose to sit outside where the views of the east coastline were breathtaking. The upstairs dining area has the same views with a more intimate setting. The meal ended with the chocolate souffle with the molten center, a must have...and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side for good measure.

It's our go-to place for friends and family celebration. Very familiar with the menu and the taste remains the same all these years. We've hosted from birthdays to grad parties and it's always been a great experience with them.

I frequent this place but tonight’s review is about the Wednesday night Wine night. First off all wines are 50 percent off the bottle. I was comparing prices and at that rate it brings some bottles down to the cost you can get them outside.

Take a look at there happy hour menu and you will find plenty to delight your taste buds with. I went with the sampler this time since I wanted to save room for dessert.

Remember to order ahead of time .... takes 20 mins, but the soufflé is amazing. Once in a while they change it up to the season so it won’t be just chocolate. I’ve had pumpkin, strawberry, matcha, chocolate and a couple others over the years.

Nice restaurant!! There is small portions in main menu. It was good for me. The service is very good and food is also very good.
