Tim Ho Wan delivers hot, fresh, cooked to order dim sum on the 3rd floor of the mall.

Service, ambiance, quality of ingredients and attention to detail are top notch.

My only complaint is that the prices are high and $5 for a pot of chrysanthemum tea is a little crazy.

Other than that, if you are in the area and in the mood for dim sum no matter what time of the day, this a good place to visit.

Went with my wife’s parents and close friends. They loved it. For them, it’s close for being “ Best sim sum I ever had!” That says a lot since they are food critics especially for Chinese food. For me, everything was delicious. I don’t have room for dessert.

Service is very good, atmosphere was nice, food was just mediocre for dim sum. Some jarring or overpowering flavor additions to traditional dishes like steamed rice roll w/minced beef, for example, which tasted like lemon pinesol bc of an overpowering lemon or lemongrass like flavor addition. Some specialties are good -- garlic shrimp for example. Not bad overall and fun, but not our favorite for dim sum dishes in Waikiki/Honolulu area.

Dim sum, and I like it! Not too busy for lunch. Food comes out quickly. Must have is the sticky rice with chicken in it, wrapped in leaves. So good! Get a lot of different plates, most come with 3 items on it.

Food was good, but I'm not sure if I thought it was worth the price and trip to Waikiki. Would rather just find a place in Chinatown and save some money. Everything was tasty though. Ample parking in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center parking lot. Make sure to get validation. I've seen people complain about the heat and even inside it's pretty warm. Not too bad but something to keep in mind depending on the weather.
