Ever since I've eaten at Over Easy, nothing has come close to the quality of a great breakfast meal! It's been 2 years since my very fortunate experience at Over Easy and I still crave it to this day. I wish they would come to the mainland! Thanks Over Easy! You've ruined breakfast for me for life. Yes folks, it's that good!
Cool / hip cafe that’s tucked away. Excellent menu with amazing breakfast and brunch dishes. Service is excellent too. No espresso coffee here - just filter - but it’s so good that you won’t miss your usual latte.
Counter seating available with “live” entertainment watching the chefs in the kitchen. Outdoor seating available too.
The toasted egg sandwich was sensational! Pork hash was a winner too.
Perfect place for breakfast at the start of your circular island tour !
Car Parking available in the public parking garage located just behind Over Easy - access of Aulike Street.
This was our first meal on Oahu. We got three different plates to share and I am so happy we did. There is a wait, but lots of little shops within walking distance. We had the sweetest server who took her time to write down their plantation tea recipe. By far our favorite dish was the Kahlua pork hash. Definitely also try the housemade sausage. The breakfast bowl was really neat too. We've never had anything like this. I cannot express how wonderful it was. Oh and the food was so fast! It all came out hot and fresh less than ten minutes after we ordered. The special was strawberry cheesecake pancakes too. Just incredible.
Good stuff. It's a little difficult to find because it isn't actually on (or facing) the street. It's around the corner on an alley which makes it nice if you sit outside or have to wait for a table which is apparently the norm as it was today.
The service staff is really nice (bubbly) and efficient. If you want to pout or feel sorry for yourself, don't go here because these folks are seriously upbeat. 80s tunes were piped into restaurant and contributed nicely to the upbeat vibe.
The coffee, mimosas, and food was also outstanding! We just had basic breakfast choices, but some of the plates coming out of the kitchen make me want to return and try some of the other menu options. It may be a trendy place, but it is also a GREAT place for breakfast.
Dogs are welcome. And people too.
Parking is across he street or on the street; parking wasn't a problem.
So incredible!!!! This is a must stop for anyone looking for a perfect brunch. The service was incredibly quick. Our order was slightly wrong so they gave us an entirely new plate for free in just minutes!!! So understanding, they really care about their customers! Atmosphere is light and quaint perfect for breakfast. The food! I've had many brunches but this takes the cake by a mile. The farm fresh eggs and local ingredients and flavors come together so well. The fried egg sandwich on their house made sourdough toast is an instant classic. Today I had their smoked brisket loco moco special and it was to die for. The brisket was cooked absolutely perfectly so tender with a beautiful smoked flavor. Overall this was the best brunch, best food I've had here yet. Fantastic service. Fantastic setting. Fantastic food. Can't wait to go back!
