Ono Japanese food here in Pearl City. Reasonably priced and high quality. Grab take out or dine in.

Very good salmon! Best salmon I've had in a while. Got their take out salmon and my husband got their teriyaki beef and chicken katsu combination plate. Very tender katsu and so flavorful. Both plates came with a side salad and scoop of rice. Daughter got their $9 California rolls, which seemed a bit pricy, but she enjoyed them so it was all good.

This restaurant has been here for awhile. They always serve delicious food. Servers are very friendly and courteous. Parking is located below or the back. Fairly clean establishment. One problem that I always see whenever I randomly go here is the mold on the ceiling and the AC ducts. Not sure why this place has not been cleaned of that.

Definitely don’t visit this place enough. Over our last few visits (maybe 4-5 in the last 6-9 months), I hadn’t stopped to notice that the service we’ve been receiving has been tremendously great! The servers and whole of the support staff have been very very gracious, friendly, and efficient. Add on to this their awesome value for the dollar. Japanese cuisine, in general, isn’t known to be on the inexpensive, or budget end. Gyotaku offers excellent specials (I’m not yet a senior, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be increasing the frequency of my visits especially when that happens)...their senior and keiki specials are unbeatable.

Service, Food Quality, and Price Reasonability all contribute to their being a top choice to visit any time!

The food here was delicious and staff were also friendly. We came here for a friends baby shower. They had a nice little private area in the front to accommodate about 50 people.
