El Palenque

This the second time my husband and I order through quick cuisine. I must say we absolutely love the food! Never have a been to a Mexican restaurant where the frijoles really stand out and taste amazing! We will be ordering again soon!

The best authentic Mexican food this side of the Pacific. Great beans. Love the machca and eggs. Really good guacamole and spicey salsa. Very small. Only 7 tables. Cozy.

Easily the best Mexican food in Hawaii, probably top 10 Mexican food I've had anywhere. VERY authentic, delicious food seasoned perfectly with the best Horchata I've had. Limited seating and street parking are small sacrifices to be made for this amazing cuisine. Service was great, so happy that I decided to try this place, will definitely be back soon.

Best Mexican food ever. My husband has lived in at least 7 states and he claimed that this place had the best Mexican food he had ever had. He is a huge meat eater so I was surprised when he said that he only gets the cheese enchiladas. The salsa was super spicy. The food was straight off the stove fresh and hot. The waitress was on point with everything. With only 6 tables in shop she was the only one running the front and she worked hard. My husband said that the food was so good that he would get a job there just to learn how to make their food. The only junk thing about this place is the parking. There is only street parking.

Best Mexican food on the Island! Never disappointed when we come here. I have recommended lots of friends and families... Not one had any complaints. My mom is a complainer about most restaurants and she absolutely had no complaint here. Great service and delicious food. My favorite is the beef fajita. Hubby, daughter's, and my dad favorites is the burrito. My moms favorite is the mix enchiladas plate. Huge portions, you won't be disappointed. You can bring your own beer. Also, it's a hole in the wall so very limited seating. Great price for excellent food and service. Worth the wait!
