“The Thai Food Express Truck recently moved from Punalu'u to the Kahuku Sugar Mill next to First Hawaiian Bank. The husband-wife owners and cooks still serve the best Thai food on Oahu. Wow, these guys are great! First of all, the owners and cooks are from Thailand, a husband and wife team. They love to cook and they love their customers and know them on a first name basis. I try to go here at least 2 times a month, I would go more often if they were a little bit closer. I am completely addicted to their yellow curry chicken plate. They have customized it for me by adding some carrots. I also like their shrimp fried rice but I can't eat both plates by myself. This is what Thai food should taste like (without wiping out your hard-earned money). Parking is very convenient.”

We ordered the spring roll, summer roll, BBQ pork chop, chicken lemongrass, and Pho Ga. The spring rolls were delicious but was not worth the price. The summer rolls were good but the peanut sauce was super thick. The BBQ pork chop and the chicken lemongrass were yummy. Lastly, the Pho Ga this was not our favorite. We got the XL and it came with alot of noodles but it had a certain awkward taste to it. I just couldn't pin point what it was. Out of everything the chicken lemongrass was the shining star.”

“This is a no nonsense Chinese restaurant. I got the lunch/dinner plate of three choices which was now $9. You have a choice of rice or noodles. I chose the noodles then the fried chicken, beef broccoli, and sweet sour pork. All this with tax for $10 and some changes. I took the plate lunch to my car expecting small portions. No what I got was a plate full of food. Man I was in food heaven. My next visit here I will try their $15 buffet menu.”

“Phenomenal. Absolutely amazing. We loved having a "Hawaiian Fusian" food experience, from our Kalua pork nachos to our Sunny Kauai Shrimp, we were in heaven!! We were also blown away with the wonderful staff and family friendly atmosphere. The hostess and waitress were both SO accommodating to our two small children (9 mos & 3 yrs), gave them a fun craft to do while we were waiting for our food, and were cheerful the entire time. “First meal here. Super nice lady behind the counter. She helped explain the menu to me and helped me order what I wanted, despite me not being able to think clearly after a 10 hour flight!
